Joseph Makdessi

Joseph Makdessi is completing his practicum with Hopefield Clinical and Support Services. With his Bachelor of Theology (Sydney College of Divinity, 2021) and a strong foundation in core counselling theories, practical skills, and pastoral care, Joseph brings his experience in aged care, mental health and hospital settings to Hopefield.

His extensive chaplaincy background has developed his empathic listening, genuineness, compassion, cultural and diverse sensitivity and gives him the ability to walk along side individuals and empower them to access their own strength and healing resources while fostering holistic wellbeing.
