Our Cronulla Hub is open to all and designed to provide practical, social and emotional supports particularly to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.

In response to locally identified needs, the Cronulla Hopefield Hub opened in May, 2021 to provide a variety of activities and services. While the Cronulla Hub does not exclude any one from engaging in the services offered, it is designed to specifically create greater supports for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.

Utilising a multi-purpose indoor and outdoor space, and in collaboration with other service providers, the Cronulla Hub offers facilities, practical help and individual and group activities to address the needs of those facing homelessness and/or social isolation.

Facilities include:

  • Communal lounge and dining, notice board and information area
  • Garden and courtyard
  • Office space for meetings
  • Reading space
  • Study space with free computer and internet access
  • Kitchen and coffee
  • Toilets and showers
  • Access to clean clothing
  • Access to fresh food, long life food and frozen meals
  • Laundry facilities

Activities include:

  • Food and meals programs
  • Living skills programs (budgeting, resume writing, basic cooking)
  • Resilience building programs
  • Social connection groups
  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Services drop in centre (hairdresser, government agencies)
