Domestic and family violence (DFV) affects people of all ages, cultures and religions regardless of income, education and occupation and includes emotional, psychological, physical, verbal, social, financial and sexual abuse.

The trauma caused by DVF can destroy families, drive homelessness and result in illness, injury, disability and death.  Exposure to DVF affects adults, children and teenagers emotionally and physically at that moment and in the long term.

Hopefield Support Services provides assistance to people affected by DVF including:

  • Intensive one on one case management
  • Practical support (including food and housing assistance)
  • Group resiliency programs.
