Irene Gallagher
Irene is a psychotherapist and counsellor with over 20 years experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Trained in somatic psychotherapy, she takes a grounded, practical approach, helping people reconnect with their emotions, bodies, and relationships in ways that feel manageable.
Irene has held leadership roles in organisations that seek to support people experiencing domestic and family violence, mental health, and suicide prevention, including heading Lifeline Australia’s national crisis services and serving as CEO of not-for-profit organisations. This gives her an understanding of the complex, high pressure situations and the real world challenges people face.
