Elysia first began her journey working with people through a Counselling degree at Wesley College (now Excelsia College). This degree allowed her to work as a school counsellor for eight years, working across both junior and senior school. Last year she completed her honours year in Psychology and is now undertaking studies in the master of clinical psychology.
Elysia has recently joined Hopefield as a Psychologist (provisional) with reduced fees for individuals and is now available to take referrals.
Elysia is passionate to use her skills to help people be the best versions of themselves and enjoy life with all its ups and downs. She primarily works from a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, integrating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills as appropriate.
