DESCRIPTION:The annual Hopefield fundraising dinner\, invitation is here!\n\nWe are so excited to invite you for a 3 course dinner at Gymea Baptist Church.\n\n\n\n\n\nGuest Speaker\, Phillip Randall\, is the CEO of Hope Media Ltd\, the licensee of Sydney’s Christian community radio station\, Hope 103.2. \nWith more than 47 years’ experience in radio broadcasting\, Phillip began his media career in commercial radio Western Australia and in 1988 joined Perth’s Christian station Sonshine FM. \nIn late 1999 he moved to Sydney to become CEO of one of Australia’s first community stations\, and Australia’s first Christian community station\, 2CBA (Hope 103.2). \nPhillip has served on the boards of Christian Media and Arts Australia\, the peak body for Christian broadcasting in Australia\, and the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia where he was President for 6 years. \nIn his role as CEO of Hope Media\, he is also responsible for managing Christian community radio stations in Brisbane\, on the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

Your presenter is Kerry Moss\, an author and educator at Hopefield\, Chaplain in a primary school and facilitator of a variety of parenting programs. Kerry will draw from many years of experience to present this online community education session\, exploring the physical\, emotional and relational effects of anxiety on children and families and offer strategies for supporting children through anxious moments. DESCRIPTION:SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP \nBUILD SOCIAL SKILLS WITH LEGO® \nCOLLABORATION COMMUNICATION COMPETENCE \nThis fun workshop teaches children how to work together using the social skills of clear communication\, joint problem solving\, sharing\, turn-taking and conflict resolution to build Lego® models. Our workshop is facilitated by speech pathologists experienced in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder\, ADD/ADHD and anxiety. This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 – 9 years attending mainstream schools who may struggle with social skills particularly when working in a group or team.
